I spent a long time writing a cool introduction, but my internet fucked me and closed my browser. So fuck you guys, not cool intro for you. If you're looking for someone for a place to rest your blame, seek no further than Al Gore. He invented this damned contraption anyways.

The amazingly cool post I meant to make brought about the point of what I want to contribute around here. So here it is. I review things. Movies, shows, mostly entertainment, but I'll throw in something crazy now and again, if only to keep life fun and exciting.

Wast-ed Time - StumbleUpon

Humpday got you down, working for the weekend? Looking for something to keep ya going? Well Wast might have you covered. opening up the blog with a timewaster seems odd but it works. Namely because it's my own blog anyway.

StumbleUpon or Internet Channel Surfing

"Ever tired of the same old web pages and are bored out of your mind. Remember the days when you actually watched TV and just channel surfed? Well StumbleUpon is like channel surfing, but in a web browser, more or less. let me explain."

StumbleUpon integrates with your web browser of choice, Internet Explorer(IE) or my browser of choice Firefox. However there are workarounds to use it in opera, safari, and some other ones as well. it provides a toolbar that you can customize the layout of the buttons that appear on it. But all that really matters with it would be the 3 buttons I mainly use all the time. The "Stumble" "Thumb's up" and "Thumb's down." All placed confidently on the left hand side of the toolbar for easy access.

To go along with these let me explain what they all do. Stumble is your go to button for the randomized surfing magic (see image to left). Thumb's up is similar to the favorite or bookmarking in a browser. This adds it to the profile you made for StumbleUpon on their main site, where you can access all you stumbling preferences as well as past noted stumbles. Now they also can integrate with Firefox 3's bookmarks to help make it even easier to locate your favorite stumbles. I am unsure if they integrate with IE's favorites because I don’t deal with that sad software.

Now on the main site after you make an account and sign in, you need to choose your site preferences. These help to narrow the randomness to stuff you might be interested in. Also included are options to stumble thru a certain website only. I wish i could stumble through any website of my choice, but all the needed ones are there, youtube and wikipedia being the only ones i would specialize in stumbling thru.

It's fuild and works brilliantly. Can even be a social network all on it's own. Also has facebook application tht postes every thing you thumbs up. i think you can adjust settings for that however.

This app gets a nice large cup Win Sauce. Must Use addition to your web browsing. Rating things with numbers is arcaic and old so i'll use different things each time. 4 bottles of sauce out of 4 as far as an add on can go. 4 being the best for add ons that is/will be.

Now go geta Stumbling, because once you start you wont stop.

Welcome and A Fun Time is Guaranted for All

So yeah, Posting a a new blog, for what the 500th time. So hard to make this a regualar thing to keep up...

Anyway...

This is more of news/life rather than findings post. So making the announcments now i guess.

1st. - Going to try and keep tabs on my social networking stuff moreso than i have been.

2nd. - keeping tabs with people i rarely see/probly hvnt/wont ever see again is something i wanna try and keep up more than i have been.

3rd - welll i guess this one is more of a request, if you feel like you want to help influence the content in the Wast Bin, post a comment or tell me in someway about something you wanna hear about. i was thinking theme days, with certain things on certain days, it's a thought to snack on. Like media mondays, or stuff like that....

4th - ummmm.... here's a tidbit for ya to read up on.... E3 ended and well let's say it was a whimper more than a bang this year... more on this l8r
